- Seed Coat/Testa
- Seed Leaf/Cotyledon
- Radicle
- Embryo/Epicotyl
This is the Little Book to accompany the cards. The child looks at the nomenclature card, colors the corresponding part on his/her page, and then writes in the name for that part. You can cut them apart for the child, or they can do the cutting themselves.

This site carries my favorite bean seed puzzles to go along with these cards. A Parts of the Seed Puzzle could easily be made out of felt. The following file could be used as a template. I have used it on the shelf as a pasting activity for the children to make their own little seed to take home. I will have to make an example in the next couple of weeks to show you.
